Five small collection agencies merged in 1999 and formed a big Collection Agency that is now known as Alliance One Collection Agency. It is a large collection firm, has been providing Debt Collection Services for over a decade. Alliance One negotiates with the original creditors on behalf of debtors and purchases unsecured debts including credit card debts, medical bills, utility accounts and other small debts. Alliance One also purchase debts from local governments and recover amount from debtors for a certain profit ratio. Alliance One gets your financial information from creditors or lenders and other resources like cold calling.
Alliance One is not one of the rigid collection firms but they may report your payments on your credit reports. Being a consumer it is your first duty to meet terms and conditions of your collection venture because if any charge off or collection item is reported on your credit report that may prevent lenders from giving you another credit.
