The cost of extra credit reports obtain by consumers will be reduced from $11 to $10.50.

The Fair Credit Reporting Act, requires the FTC to revise the cap based on the change in the Consumer Price Index. The fee is rounded to the nearest 50 cents each year.

This does not affect the “Fee Credit Report” that the consumer is entitled to every 12 months from the National outlet.
